Conference Format

The 2022 Short Rotation Woody Crops Conference will take place in person at North Carolina State's Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center.

 

All Plenary Sessions will consist of in-person oral presentations given according to the conference program schedule.

Poster presentations will be displayed on-site and will be presented live. Poster presenters are expected to be at their posters during coffee/tea breaks on the day of their assigned session.

Oral Presentation Format

Plenary Sessions will be comprised of 25 minute talks, followed by 5 minutes for questions. 

​

Presentation files must be submitted during the registration period at the conference. Please save your presentation file to a USB storage device and submit to Solomon Ghezehei at the registration table.  

 

Presenters, please submit presentation files in PDF format to sbghezeh@ncsu.edu in advance of the conference. These will serve as back-up files.

We recommend that presenters create their presentations in widescreen format (16:9 ratio) for enhanced viewing experience.

Poster Format

All posters are to be set up on Monday, May 2 from 6:00PM-7:15PM, and will be on display throughout the entire conference. Poster presenters are expected to be at their posters during coffee/tea breaks on the day of their assigned session.

 

Posters dimensions can be up to 36 inches x 42 inches (91 cm x 107 cm).

Posters will be displayed on wooden stands pictured below. Materials will be provided that presenters can use to attach their posters to the stands.

Presenters are responsible for setting up and taking down their posters. Posters must be taken down by 5:30PM on Wednesday, May 4.
