The Golden Triangle Regional (GTR) Airport, located approximately 16 miles from Starkville, MS provides easy access to Mississippi State University. Starkville-MSU Area Rapid Transit (SMART) provides free transportation both to and from the Golden Triangle Regional Airport and various hotels in Starkville.
