Presenter Guidelines
The 2024 Short Rotation Woody Crops International Conference will take place in person at the University of Missouri's Anheuser-Busch Natural Resources Building in Columbia, Missouri.
Oral Presentations

Each oral presentation is 15 minutes consisting of 12 minute talks followed by 3 minutes for questions

Presenters, please save your presentation file to a USB storage device and bring in to the conference so that they can be loaded onto the presentation computer

Please submit your presentation file in PDF format to Ryan Vinhal (ryan.vinhal@usda.gov) and Liz Rogers (elizabeth.r.rogers@usda.gov) by May 10, 2024. This file will serve as a back-up file for your presentation

We recommend that presenters create their presentations in widescreen format (16:9 ratio) for enhanced viewing experience
Poster Presentations

There are two poster sessions during the conference:

Tuesday, May 14: 2:45PM-3:45PM

Wednesday, May 15: 2:15PM-3:15PM

A student poster competition will take place on May 14 from 2:45PM-3:45PM. All student poster presenters are expected to be at their posters during this time. All other poster presenters are expected to be at their posters on May 15 from 2:15PM-3:15PM

All posters are to be set up on Monday, May 13 during the welcome reception or May 14 during the registration period

Posters dimensions can be up to 40 inches tall x 60 inches wide (101 cm x 152 cm)

Materials will be provided for presenters to attach their posters to the poster boards

Posters must be taken down by 5:30PM on Wednesday, May 15
Student Presentation Competitions
Presented by the Journal of Forest Business Research, and the Poplar and Willow Council of Canada

Two student competitions will take place during the 2024 conference

All student oral presentations will be judged by a group of conference organizers throughout the day on May 14 and May 15

A student poster competition will take place on Monday, May 14 from 2:45PM-3:45PM. During this time, a group of conference organizers will be judging all student posters. All student poster presenters are expected to be at their posters during this time.
