Woody Crops Scholars Program
We are pleased to announce the first ever Woody Crops Scholars Program as part of the 2024 Short Rotation Woody Crops International Conference!
The Woody Crops Scholars Program is intended to support student participation and engagement at the 2024 SRWC conference. All undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students who have submitted an abstract to the conference are invited to apply.
Selected Woody Crops Scholars will receive free registration as well as additional prizes and a certificate of Program participation. Scholars will also benefit from numerous professional development opportunities throughout the conference:

Networking (attendance at a minimum of four networking opportunities is mandatory for Scholars)

Mixer with woody crop professionals

Multiple field tour options

Meetings of global organizations dedicated to the production of woody crops

Banquet dinner

Student dinner

Professional development in oral and written presentation skills

Student poster competition or oral presentation competition (poster or oral presentation is mandatory for Scholars)

Prepare a summary of discussions with experts (mandatory)

Complete a feedback form on experiences from the conference (mandatory)

Submit a peer-reviewed manuscript to the IUFRO 2.08.04 Technical Paper Series (optional)

Submit a peer-reviewed manuscript to the Journal of Forest Business Research (optional)
